The “cocktail party of the year” was a fun and festive success as Brant Waterways’ Directors and volunteers hosted the 32nd annual spring fundraiser at The Rope Factory Event Hall on Thursday May 12, 2022.
Attendees at the sold-out event enjoyed fabulous food catered by Devlin’s Country Bistro & Catering, entertaining live music by The Bodegas, and spirited activities including our renowned “Rivers & Trails” game! In addition to the array of beverages served by The Rope Factory bar staff, craft beer and spirits samples were offered courtesy of The Paris Beer Company and Manns Distillery.
Thanks to our many generous donors and supporters, the silent auction and raffle tables included a wide assortment of valuable items.
Our annual spring event is not only a popular, highly anticipated social evening, it continues to be an integral component of our fundraising activities. That is why after a two-year pandemic-imposed hiatus, this event was more important than ever. We’re pleased to report that net proceeds from this year’s event exceeded $30,000!
The funds will support important projects aimed at preserving protecting, improving and promoting the natural resources within our local Grand River watershed.
