Summer is here, and you know what that means – it’s time to dust off your camera and get ready for the Brant Waterways 3rd Annual Summer Photo Contest! This exciting contest will take place from July 1st to August 31st, 2023, giving you plenty of time to explore and snap some stunning shots along the beautiful waterways and adjacent trails of Brantford, Brant, and Six Nations of the Grand River.
Whether you’re a photography enthusiast or just love capturing precious moments with your smartphone, this contest is open to all amateur photographers. So grab your gear, unleash your creativity, and let’s dive into the details!
How to Enter
Submitting your entry is a breeze! You have two options:
- Instagram
- Follow @waterways.brant on Instagram.
- Post your photo on your Instagram account and tag @waterways.brant.
- Use the hashtag #BrantWaterways in the caption.
- Make sure your Instagram profile is public during the contest period, allowing us to view your submission.
- Email
- Send an email to [email protected]
- Include your name, contact information, and attach your photo(s) to the email.
- In the subject line, mention “Photo Contest Submission.”
You have complete freedom to choose your subject matter. Whether it’s a breathtaking landscape, an action-packed moment, vibrant flora, fascinating wildlife, joyful people, or anything else that catches your eye, the choice is yours! The only requirement is that the photograph must be taken within Brantford, Brant, or Six Nations of the Grand River, along the waterways or adjacent trails.
Now, let’s talk about the exciting part: the prizes! The top three winners will receive one of three prizes:
