We are excited about the upcoming tree planting this Fall. The Brant Tree Coalition has continued to collaborate with community partners to ensure four more tree plantings in the coming months!
September 29th
- TD Tree Days at The New Forest in the City (Adams Blvd. storm pond).
- Event Time: 9AM to noon
- Note for this tree planting pre-registration is required: www.tdtreedays.com
October 19th
-
- Brant County Fall Tree Plant at Burford Lions Park.
- 10:00AM to 12:30PM
October 26th
- Echo Park Brantford Community Tree Plant with the support of the East Ward Echo Place Neighborhood Association.
- 9:00AM to 11:30AM
October 26th
-
- Tree planting at the new Dufferin Park.
- 1:00PM to 3:00PM
All of these tree planting events were very successful and had the involvement and cooperation of the all members of the Brant Tree Coalition (that includes numerous volunteers, community groups, City staff and the GRCA).
The Brant Tree Coalition has now helped orchestrate the planting of over 125,000 native trees and shrubs in the City and County. If you’d like to support our work and help plant more trees throughout our community, consider making a donation below!
