Welcome to the Brant Waterways Foundation. We are proud to show you what our Foundation does in making Brantford and Brant County a great place to live, showcasing our natural surroundings, our trail systems and adjoining waterways.

Brant Waterways is a charitable organization whose objective is to provide funding assistance for projects that preserve, protect, restore and improve the natural resources of the Grand River watershed and adjacent lands within the County of Brant, located in Southwestern Ontario, Canada.

Life is better outdoors! The hub of Ontario’s Trails is right here with 3 major branches of the Trans Canada Trail connecting at Brant’s Crossing, Brantford. Many of the trails run along the Grand River and they’re open year round.

Walk, run, cycle, cross country ski, snow shoe, go geocaching, take a paddle down the Grand River or fish in some of the best water in the region. Picnic at Mt. Pleasant Nature Park and fish in the stocked ponds. There’s so much to do! When you’re here you will see the footprint of our investments throughout Brantford/Brant that improve and protect the Grand River and have helped to develop the vast trail system.

When you’re done, be sure to leave your comments on our website, tweet or facebook about your experience, share your photos, but most importantly, enjoy and tell others.
