I too enjoyed the trails on the weekend. Went to visit the Mt. Pleasant Nature Park....what a beautiful place. Enjoyed blackberries and the momma duck with her babies.

We have seen so many turtles this year during the egg laying season. Haven't seen too many egg shells at the side of the trail yet - foxes and raccoons doing their work.

Was down for a very early morning ride last week in the D'Aubigny Creek area and came across a couple of critters on the trail - a pair of coyotes - great looking animals - guess they had already eaten their breakfast because they sure took off in a hurry. Has anyone else seen coyotes down there?

I can't figure something out - why do so many people ride the trails without a helmet. What example do parents set when they have their children ride with helmets and they don't. And no bells on their bikes either!!

What a beautiful evening on the golf course side of the trail - lots of people running, walking, cycling - out there enjoying themselves. Even a couple of energetic ladies picking blackberries near the golf course road - had one and it was soooo tasty and sweet. Lots of wild asparagus too! Found out that part of the golf course was an asparagus farm....Thanks to Cathy Z for that information.
Let's see what's out there tomorrow night!
