Sunday September 25, 2011 at Brant’s Crossing. Race starts at 10:30 am – on site registration and race kit pick up will open at 8 am.

Come join us for a scenic and fast run along the trails bordering the mighty Grand River. You will have a choice of 5 or 10K distances – both will be fast. Runners and walkers welcome for this great day. Come support the trails you use all year around. With your support, Our trails keep getting bigger and better. Race details to follow. Food, prizes, people – come and see it all happen, starting and finishing at Brant’s Crossing, behind the Brantford Casino.
Prizes – First overall Male and Female in each race (5K/10K) will receive a pair of Saucony running shoes of their choice, complements of Al’s Shoe Factory, Downtown or King George Rd. locations. Winners (M/F) in each age category in each race will receive cash prizes.

2011 Annual Fund Raiser with Lynn Crawford

What a great night! Everything was perfect – delicious food, great wine, soothing Jazz, and most of all an enthusiastic crowd having a great time. Chef Lynn was at her best – so were the local chefs and coffee roaster – they outdid themselves. Can’t wait for the 2102 event. Many thanks to the sponsors and volunteers – this would not have been possible without you.

Fresh from the Food Channel, and her ensemble of local Brantford chefs, Lynn will orchestrate the entire evening with her special touch – food, good food, and all from Ontario. Chef Lynn will work closely with our local chefs Dennis Duce, Jason Gibson, Eric Wasylensky and The Blue Dog Coffee Roasters to make a great evening of fun, superb food, very fine wines with pairings from a sommelier from Jackson Triggs Winery, and music the entire evening from local jazz band Ross Trio. Brant celebrates expansion to Trans Canada Trail

MOUNT PLEASANT, ON – Brant Waterways Foundation and the County of Brant held an official ceremony today to celebrate the completion of the Toronto Hamilton & Buffalo Trail (TH&B) project.
Phil McColeman, MP for Brant; Dave Levac, MPP for Brant; Mary Welsh, Honourary Lifetime Director of Brant Waterways Foundation; and Ron Eddy, Mayor for the County of Brant are pleased to see this important community recreational infrastructure project reach completion.
